The collaboration marks the launch of our fully recyclable plasma coating technology for industrial packaging.
Aachen, 19 December 2024
First movers play a crucial role in driving sustainable innovation forward, shaping consumer preferences and fostering long-term growth and competitiveness. Together with our first mover and partner company Greif, Inc. (NYSE: GEF, GEF.B) we are taking industrial packaging to the next level.
Over the past three years, we have been developing our pioneering plasma coating technology that sets a new industry standard for barrier solutions in plastic packaging while ensuring full recyclability. Greif will be the first company to implement this technology in one of their packaging production lines, marking an important step in the market introduction of our industrial scale coating machines. As a leader in the packaging industry with 140 years of experience, Greif is fully committed to providing innovative and sustainable packaging solutions that meet the most demanding customer needs. Real-world testing has already demonstrated the strength of our coatings in several trials, underscoring their effectiveness in protecting packaged products. This collaboration represents a significant step forward in our shared mission to transform the packaging industry and drive sustainability on a global scale.
In a joint Q&A session, Dr. Montgomery Jaritz, Co-Founder of IonKraft, and Tom Palmer from Greif discuss our innovative plasma coatings that are leading the way in sustainable packaging, meeting barrier requirements without compromising on recyclability.
This partnership demonstrates how sustainability and innovation can be seamlessly integrated into core business operations. For more details on IonKraft and Greif, visit www.ionkraft.com and www.greif.com.
